It’s Tuesday, and that means time again for one of our favorite weekly highlights – New Tracks on the Trail!
Why do we love New Tracks? Because it just fits our active adult lifestyle.
You see, when we were younger we spent many an hour sampling the new music at Rockin’ Rudy’s, spending our easy-earned cash on the hottest rated albums of the season and reading our music magazines cover to cover.
Today, we hate to admit, we’re a little more passive in our fandom. We don’t have the time, we don’t have the money. Our CD collection remains emblematic of our high school days and, quite frankly, we’re sick of all that stuff anyways.
Fast forward to the Trail 103.3 – specifically Tuesdays on the Trail. Here’s a day when our passive listening pays off. We get to actually listen to some of the music our friends are always raving about – and maybe get a chance to again be the cool kid raving about the music everyone else has yet to hear. We can get acquainted with some local artists we’ve never heard of, we can check out tunes from bands coming to town, we can get the latest from music legends we never had the chance to know because, well, we really didn’t think much beyond Pearl Jam.
Yep, it’s a lot harder to stay hip in this old age – but it doesn’t mean we don’t pursue it to great measure. Thanks to New Tracks on the Trail, there’s at least one day we don’t have to work too hard at it.
Special thanks to our friends at Rockin’ Rudy’s for sponsoring “New Tracks”.
Here’s a taste of the new stuff Missoula’s favorite radio personalities will be spinning this Tuesday, June 7th:
-The Lumineers – Another from the indie folk band’s second studio release, Cleopatra
-The Tragically Hip – Tracks from the Canadian rockers’ 13th full-length album, Man Machine Poem – due out June 17
-The Broadcast – New works from the Asheville, North Carolina band’s upcoming album, From The Horizon (also due June 17)
-The Cactus Blossoms – From their harmonious debut, You’re Dreaming
-Flume – “Tiny Cities” from the Australian electronic musician’s second album, Skin
Remember, most these are on sale now for discount at Rockin’ Rudy’s. And keep listening for your favorites from yesterday – and tomorrow – on the Trail 103.3!
One option for solving many health problems is a on line. Minor change in basic lifestyle, another is drugs.
