My radio-infatuation started while sitting in hours of Los Angeles traffic growing up. After graduating from high school, I moved as far away from the city that I could- and thus ended up at the University of Montana School of Journalism.
Upon starting at the University of Montana, I immediately became involved with KBGA, the college radio station, starting off as a news reporter- and eventually worked my way up to General Manager, all while hosting a reggae show for almost 4 years. I interned with the the Trail my senior year of college , which quickly turned into a full-time job immediately after graduating.
I love everything about the Missoula community..the people, the scenery, the access to outdoors, the nightlife… I try to see as much live music as possible, and Missoula is a gem for some of the best. I love camping, cooking, crafting, and spending time with my friends and family. My mom is my best friend and taught me everything there is to know about music. My husband and I love to go on roadtrips and often like to take “the long way home”, spending a few extra minutes enjoying the scenery, finishing an album or podcast, or getting through one more chapter of an audio book.
We own a cute little house in downtown Missoula with a purple door and a small backyard farm.
I love what I’ve got and I’ve got what I love and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
